All Rabbit Semiconductor products are OEM units that requiring programming.  They can be programmed specifically for your application and can be easily modified.  Dynamic C is the compiler and debugger used to develop software for all Rabbit Semiconductor products.

Dynamic C comes with various supporting items that makes life alot easier:
- royalty free TCP/IP stack, free with Dynamic C
- sample programs for each aspect of the hardware for every Rabbit core module, Single Board Computer and Operator Interface product.
- low-level libraries for all hardware.  For example, graphics drivers for graphic displays, ethernet drivers, and serial port drivers.

Add-on Libraries

There are also various add-on libraries which help reduce the development time and thus the time to market:

• Point-to-Point protocol (PPP) - a software layer in TCP/IP for PPP connections.
• Modbus TCP - a TCP/IP enabled version of the industrial standard modbus protocol.
• RabbitWeb - a library to speed up creation of webpages
• Secure Socket Layer (SSL) - for security for internet transfered data.
• FAT file system - for data storage using FAT12 and FAT16.
• Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) - for 128bit encrypted data

Product Updates

Products can be easily updated in the field or on a return-to- base basis using a Laptop or PC, a programming cable and an easy to use application, the Rabbit Field Utility.
